We came to Stu with plans for our new home that we loved – but bore little resemblance to our original budget.

We consider ourselves incredibly fortunate to have found Stu and his team right at that point when the dream of building our new home was beginning to look like it might not be able to be realised. From the first conversation Stu was incredibly engaged with our project, our focus on energy efficiency and aesthetics as well as sensitive to our budget.

He seemed to genuinely relish the challenge of helping us to figure out how to make our plans a reality and never stopped looking for ways to bring efficiencies and possible cost-savings to our project. We have found Stu & his team deliver a show home quality product every time of which our purchasers all comment upon. Stu & his team are approachable on site which makes the building process more enjoyable and enables you to be more involved if you wish.

Inevitably there are changes during construction & Stu works hard to resolve them cost effectively and with solutions that meet the building code & good practice. This helps greatly when you are towards the end of the build and don’t need hold ups around the issue of the Code of Compliance Certificate from the local authority. Stu works hard to get builds within his quotation and will often put forward ideas & alterations which deliver the same result but more cost effectively. We have no problems recommending Howard Construction as long as it does not hold up our future builds with him.
